1. Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to junkitforcars.com. These Terms are a binding agreement between you (“User”, “Seller”) and Junk IT (“Company”). Texas law governs this contract. If you do not accept, do not use the service.

2. Definitions

  1. Service: Intermediation, quoting, towing logistics, and purchase of motor vehicles, salvage, or scrap.
  2. Vehicle: The car, truck, van, or RV you intend to sell.
  3. Quote: A preliminary value estimate based on the information you provide.

3. Eligibility & Capacity

You confirm you are at least 18 and have legal capacity to contract in Texas. If acting for a business, you have authority to bind that entity.

4. Seller Declarations (Title Protection)

  1. Ownership: You are the legal, registered owner.
  2. Right to sell: You hold a valid Certificate of Title (TxDMV or equivalent), free of erasures, and can transfer it to the Company.
  3. Liens: The Vehicle is free of liens, loans, mechanic’s liens, tax debts, or third-party claims unless disclosed and agreed in writing.
  4. Accuracy: Condition, mileage, and missing parts are stated truthfully.

5. Quote, Inspection & Purchase

  1. Quotes given online/phone are conditional and may change if the physical inspection differs (e.g., missing catalytic converter, hidden damage).
  2. A driver/agent performs final inspection at pickup; that decision is final.
  3. Required documents: Valid government ID and properly signed title per Texas Transportation Code, Chapter 501.

6. Towing & Removal Policy

  1. Access: You ensure the Vehicle is reachable by a standard tow truck.
  2. Personal items: You must remove belongings, plates, and toll tags (TxTag/EZTAG) before towing.
  3. Liability: Junk IT is not responsible for items left in the Vehicle once hooked, nor for minor surface damage inherent to moving an immobilized vehicle.

7. Payments

Payment is made at pickup after title verification and inspection, via cash or corporate check at Junk IT’s discretion. Ownership transfers when payment is delivered and the title is signed.

8. Release of Liability (Indemnity)

  1. You will indemnify and hold Junk IT harmless from claims, losses, damages, or costs (including attorneys’ fees) arising from: (a) any breach of ownership or lien declarations, (b) any violation of local, Texas, or federal laws, (c) any hazardous material or illegal items left in the Vehicle.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law (including the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act), Junk IT is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages. Total liability will not exceed the agreed purchase price of the Vehicle.

10. Intellectual Property

All logos, text, and graphics on junkitforcars.com are owned by Junk IT and protected by U.S. copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

11. Privacy & Communications (TCPA)

By providing your phone number, you expressly consent to receive calls and SMS from Junk IT related to your quote and sale, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by Texas law. Legal disputes will be resolved exclusively in state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas. Last updated: December 1, 2025.
